What is the difference between Graduation Sashes and Graduation Stoles?

There is no difference. Graduation Stoles and Graduation Sashes are the same thing.

How do I order?

After selection of your design and desired text, you can mail, email, phone, or fax an order form to us directly. However, please contact us for more information on special requests.

What are your sashes made of?

Our sashes are handcrafted using the finest quality fabrics which include bridal satin (polyester) and cotton and woven ethnic cloth. All of our sashes are custom made and manufactured locally.

Is everything embroidered?

Yes! All the text you select and customized logos you select for your sash are embroidered. We do not use any cheap heat transfers or stick-ons. We also close up the back of the sash so it is nice and clean on both sides!

How about sash sizes, and where to select it?

Graduation sashes/stoles are 5” wide and 42” long from the neck to the tip with unique standard sizes.

Pageant and award sashes have multiple sizes available: Standard   [Adult] ~5" wide x 35" long

XL [Adult over 6'5" tall] ~5" wide x 45" long.

The sizes are approximations in inches from the tip of the sash to the fold (or top of the shoulder). Once designed, you can select or change the sash size.

Should you have a specific request or just for safety, please write your Age and Height, or other details in the note box.

When will I be charged for my order?

Once an order has been reviewed and manufacture starts you will be billed for your order.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We are equipped to securely process orders and we accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express via PayPal. (Invoice will be sent)

Do you accept checks?

No personal checks are accepted.  However, we will accept business checks for groups or corporate orders. Simply send a check payable to Sash Company1 along with your online order or completed order form to:

If a payment is made by check, we start production upon receiving your check by mail.
Please note that a $25.00 fee will be assessed for returned checks.

Do I have to pay tax on my order?

If your state requires, taxes will be applied.

How soon will I get my order?

Each sash is made to order with custom embroidery. Therefore, the turnaround for orders varies. For Individual orders and Small Groups orders, our average turnaround is 21 days to 5 weeks!

Rush orders are accepted only on a case by case bases

Please contact us first if you need a rush order within less than a week's time.. A production rush fee will apply regardless of the shipping method.

What should I put in for due date?

Most of our customers like to select the day of their graduation or commencement ceremony. Please allow us 2-4 weeks for delivery. If this is a rush order,  again please contact us before ordering.

How many letters can I fit and how big will they be?

The amount of letters for your school name or personalized text included with standard embroidery is 17 spaces maximum per line.

Award, pageant & homecoming sashes are limited to 30-45 letters. The larger the amount, the smaller the letters will become. Please be aware that the size of letters will be determined by this factor.

When do I have to pay a digitizing and setup fee?

Logos or symbols not already in our embroidery library will require a digitizing setup fee.

The digitizing process requires transforming an image to stitches using digitizing software, breaking it out into sections, colors and layers, to create all shapes in a format an embroidery machine can read.

It is a one-time fee only, and only applicable for new custom logos and/or new orders.
There is no separate setup fee for pictures or photos using direct to garment image printing, only a flat $35 fee per picture.

What is your Return Policy?

Custom or personalized sashes cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded unless defective upon delivery, or for errors made by us in reference to your given specifications and/or personalization. Before you confirm your order always check your final order and verify that your information and text items are spelled correctly.
